The Story Behind the Studio
Hi! I’m Jenna Louise Potter
Founder of JLP Photography Studio, mum of four, and someone who still gets butterflies watching families connect in front of my camera.
I started this studio in 2012 after photographing the five children I nannied here in Hong Kong. What began as a side passion quickly became my life’s work. Born in a small town in South Africa, I’ve always valued deep roots, real connection, and the stories that shape us. And that’s exactly what I try to capture in every portrait - those tiny, fleeting moments that somehow say everything.
From snuggly newborn shoots to hundreds of joyful school photo days, I’ve built JLP Photography Studio to be something bigger than just me.
It’s now a full-hearted, full-service portrait studio - powered by a team of creative women who bring the same care, warmth, and magic to every single shoot.
Meet the Team
Behind every great portrait is someone who made you feel at ease.
Here are the incredible women who help make the magic happen:
Meet
Olivia Lefebvre
Portrait Artist & Family Session Extraordinaire
Olivia brings energy and empathy into every shoot. She has an uncanny ability to spot authentic moments and freeze them in time. Whether it’s toddlers or teens, her sessions are easy, joyful, and always beautifully lit.
Meet
Savannah Thompson
Associate Photographer & Lead School Portrait Specialist
Warm, organised, and endlessly patient - Savannah has a gift for making even the most camera-shy child feel relaxed and seen. She’s worked with children for years, and families adore her calming presence and natural eye.
Meet
Nicole Burak
Creative Producer & Client Experience Queen
Nicole makes sure the entire process - from scheduling to final delivery - feels smooth, thoughtful, and just a little bit luxurious. She’s the glue behind the scenes, always ensuring every family and school feels cared for from start to finish.
Together, we serve families, schools, and businesses across Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and beyond - bringing personality, polish, and presence to every portrait.
