You’d stand nervously in a long line, waiting for your turn to come, and then you’d be prodded onto a stool in front of a cheesy painted background. The flash would go off, your friends would all giggle and you’d be sent back to class before you’d remembered to smile properly.
Needless to say, the pictures never quite turned out how you’d like them to.
